This fun course is all about taking stunning portrait photography using natural and artificial lighting.
Following on from the Basic Program, we take a more in depth look at light and its characteristics to take breathtaking images.

What to look for in your photos and how to edit them to make them zing. Getting them ready to print and display in your home.
Editing & Critiquing your image
This session will set you up to be able to take breathtaking images whilst you are traveling around or relaxing on holiday.
What will I get out of this course?
-You'll understand the basics of where to correctly place the subject or group and posing techniques to achieve impact and flattery in the portrait.
-You'll learn simple and very powerful ways to create natural looking expression and realism in the image.
-You'll have a greater appreciation of the fine details to look for prior to taking the image and how to use shadows to shape and model the features.
-You'll have a much deeper awareness of light and how it behaves to help you make better choices of where to shoot and what style to adopt.
- You will meet other local people that share a common passion in photography, that will develop into new friendships and enrich your lives.
This is a fun and hands on training workshop giving you elements and skills to take perfect portraits every time.
This course is designed for those of you that have a digital SLR camera and a flash gun, is assumes that you have a good understanding of the basics in photography and camera use.
(Must have the knowledge of things covered in my Basic Training Program.)
These practical hands on sessions take place in small groups (to ensure personal feedback) and are in and around the studio in Caterham..
